What is Prostate Cancer?
Simply put, cancer of the prostate gland. The question is : What is prostate gland , and what does it do?
Prostate gland is the roundish organ , the size of a golf ball in the pelvis hard up against the base of the bladder- only in men. Men urinate through it. It grows to adult size at puberty usually under the influence of hormones.
Prostate gland begins to enlarge in early middle age and this can become a problem common in older men.
Prostate Cancer is not caused by vasectomy, injury or masturbation
